This site runs on a Linux server, here are a list of resources used.

General Linux Resources

For general information on the Linux operating system visit http://www.linux.org/.

E-smith (now known as SME Server)

I'm running the e-smith server version 4.1.2 . It was developed by an Ottawa company based on the RedHat distribution. Many important services are bundled with the server, which works right after install with minimal configuration required. The Samba package is used to allow the server to act as a NT domain master (ie. Fileserver) for the network. The webmail package IMP is provided to allow secure remote access to your mail for all users.

Apache

I am using the world's most popular webserver, Apache.

Webmail uses IMP from the Horde project and mySQL

The webmail package is provided by a group called the Horde.

Image Display System

The Photo Albums use IDS (the Image Display System).

Round Robin Database Tool

A couple of the packages rely on Toby Oetiker's RRD tool.

mySQL

mySQL is used by the Horde as part of the webmail system and I am also using it in my soon to be deployed Recipe project.

AW Stats.

I get all my Web usage stats from the AW Stats package.
