False Creek Path
Walking along False Creek. Note characteristic white foliage and black sky. There was a bit too much contrast here and the more distant trees are unpleasantly bright.
Pentax 24mm f2.8 set to f/16 @ 1/125 with a 25A red filter.

My Angel on the False Creek Path. The Infrared halo is quite clear here.

Light and Shadow
I'm spoiled by Pentax's SMC coatings, I don't hesitate to shoot into the sun at all. That filter has caused some major flare here. Still the major flare element has fallen into a dark region and adds some interest to the shot. I honestly can't remember if I could see it through the viewfinder. I do remember wondering how it would look though.

Tide Rocks
I snapped this one to see how the water would contrast with the sky.

Sculpture Structure
The next time I shoot this will be with the fisheye. I hope the artist won't mind my distortion.

Into the Sunset
I was hoping these geese would fly right over my head but alas they went around me but I managed to snap this one as they went by.

Nature Stairs
Wood is apparently a good reflector of infra-red, this was taken almost at sunset and is an old unused staircase off the False Creek path near the Granville Bridge. Note the foliage growing all over it. The foreground is asphalt.

Hummer1
This Humming bird kept visiting the feeder at Harrison Hot Springs as we were sitting outside on the patio. It was fairly late in the day so I used the flash. Pentax MZ-5n with Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 APO Macro and Pentax AF200T flash.

Sunset at Jerico
This was shot at the same time and location as the previous
Sunset at Jerico

This was shot at the same time and location as the previous "Big Sky" shot but with a 17mm fisheye. It is apparant from the thinness of the negative that the built-in Orange filter is not sufficient for use with Infra-red.

There is also some flare. Still I was able to salvage something from the negative.
